My favorite die or digi design. and i suppose you want us to pick only one. well, i guess my favorite die is the one i'm currently using. Still to broad, well, I would say that my favorite die is the 4x4 award ribbon. Because not only is it an award ribbon, but it's a flower, a tag, and a circle. and my new favorites are going to be the state and country dies, because they will be just what i'll be currently using when they arrive!

My favorite digital design is the USA puzzle. Oh my gosh, it is awesome. I want to do a map of all the states we have lived in (hubby just retired from the Navy)and this will be perfect. It's hard to pick a favorite die because all of the countries are so cool but I have to pick Germany because my son is currently stationed there and we'll be going to visit soon. Thanks for all the great designs. Look forward to seeing even more in the future.

It's too bad the states are not to scale. You couldn't put the puzzle together and have it fit.

I have to say that my favorite dies are the frogs...dated, I know but they are so cute. I love all of the flowers too.

Not to be a downer but I have to ask who designed the 2x2 of Canada? Did they actually look at a map when they did it? I think it looks like Canada got a bit squashed. Also, while it is nice for you Americans to have your own puzzle, what about Canada? There are 10 provinces and 3 territories and this would make a really fun puzzle too. I know that Quickutz is an American company but there are alot of Americans who travel here so a Canada puzzle would actually do quite well. Canadians also enjoy the fact that we have these distinctions.

It drives me crazy watching CNN or an American channel and they mention things like "Toronto, Canada" or "Calgary, Canada". How would you like it if we all said, "Yep, I'm going to Orlando, USA!" or "Yep, I'm going to Los Angeles, USA!" You might get pretty tired of hearing stuff like that.

I do like the latest release because there are a bunch of travelers out there. Also, these would be great for heritage pages. I just would have liked to have seen a more educated representation of Canada in the dies.

Still a huge fan though.

Thanks for indulging in my curiosity and sharing your favorite die/digital design and why. Anyone else want to share?

Sharon: While we couldn't make all of the state dies fit together and still be on 2x2 dies, there is a puzzle that you can download and cut out with the Silhouette. If you yourself aren't interested in purchasing a Silhouette, check with a friend or local scrapbook store to see if you could use theirs to cut out a USA puzzle.

Penni: Our designers are top-notch, in my opinion, but are sometimes limited by things beyond their control when it comes to specific aspects of a die. I'll pass along all of your comments to product development in any case. I'm rooting for a Canada province puzzle, too, since my dad's family is all Canadian. But hey, if we released EVERYTHING possible now, there wouldn't be any room left for future releases! :D Again, thanks for the input.

Thanks Yvette.

I definately agree with you that your designers are awesome! I must say that I love the Canadian set. I love the Canada goose and the beaver! You could add things like a Tim Horton's coffee cup or a doughnut. (Canada has more coffee/doughnut shops per capita than the USA!) You could also add the curling rock and broom or a lacrosse stick because that is our national sport. Also-a little mountie would be cute too with a little black horse. Just some ideas for the future.

You are right though, you can't release everything all at once. Oh--on the Canada country die, I think you are missing Labrador (The big island hanging off the east coast of the country.)

Thanks for remembering the Canadians in your life!

I was so saddened to find out that some of the dies are already out of stock. now what???

Any chance of other countries.... you mentioned opportunities for future releases. I'd love to see Italy. I currently have the England and USA collections as well as AZ,WI & the USA 2x2. Love them all! On a seperate note... how come there are some exclusive dies out in stores that don't show up on your website? I know that Archiver's has three exclusive dies out right now (mine is already sold out of them) and I have yet to see them on your site. I missed out on thier 3rd, and have yet to see it. They are animals and were realeased in thier stores a few weeks ago.

is there a limit to the number of images you can post for the around the world contest?
