Laura's Giveaway Challenge:
First of all, I regret to announce that this will most likely be the last of Laura's Challenges. You see, I am sadly leaving this awesome job in three weeks (My husband got a job in Seattle so that's where we're headed). I'm sure you'll hear from me once or twice again before I go but, like I said, this is the last of my giveaways. But never fear, I'm sure that whoever takes over the blog will continue with these monthly giveaways. Let me just say a quick thanks to all of you for reading this blog, for participating and for sharing your talents and your passion for crafting with me! I wish you all the best and many days of QuicKutz pleasure.
Ok so down to business. Help me remember the good times at QK by telling me what your favorite monthly release of 2009 was and why (this can totally include today's release!). Three randomly chosen people will win two dies or four embossing folders from this release! Good luck.
Here are some fun projects for your viewing pleasure.
I haven't been following your blog for very long, but I have been amazed and excited by all the samples and the products. I would love to have more embossing folders.

Oh my gosh so sorry to hear you are leaving Laura! Best of Luck in Seattle! It is hard to choose a favorite release from this year - there were a few months that almost every die was a must have for me. If I go by the month where I ordered the most shapes, it would have to be the Office Supply release (April? I think), followed by the Anime release (March?) as a close second! I picked the office supply release because it is so versitle. I really like this month's release for the same reason.

I really love the sewing machine die - don't know how often I would use it but I love it. Next would be the new alphabet font from today's post.
Laura best to luck to you and your family. We will miss you!

I love the April release. Especially the brackets and instant photos and arrows and banner. Heck that one I loved them all. And I am still trying to buy all the ones I wanted of that release. lol.

I don't remember what month it was, but my favorite must have (which I did buy) was the scrolled label CC dies. I got both the square and rectangle sizes!

That's really tough but I do have to say this latest release is probably going to be my favorite. I can't wait to get my hands on it and there are so many things you can do with it. Woooow!

My favorite is the May 09 release of the Spring Gift Sets!! Of the 4, my favorites are the Flirt & Relax sets. I love the images and matching fonts, they are mega cute. I think I was sold right away by the color scheme, haha!

I hope you and your fammily enjoy Seattle. A group of us go there every November for CKC and we have a great time.
I do love this new release. I have always had trouble journalling and I just know that the new journalling spots will help me be more consistant with my journalling. I do like the embossing folders too because it adds such a subtle elegance to pages and cards. I could go on and on about all the monthly releases.

I have to say, that the Spring Gift sets were my favorite release. Not only did we get A TON of dies in each set, but the price was like a GIFT too. Come on!! A FULL alphabet AND all those shapes! I feel sad for anyone who didn't get in on those!

Good luck with your new adventure in Seatle! My favorite 2009 Release was in March. I totally loved the 80's style the dies had going on - the Panda, the Rainbow, Shooting Star, the Mushrooms...Brought back a lot of memories from my childhood.
I also really like this months release. The interactive pop-up door dies can be used on cards which I love to make.

I do love today's release!! But I would have to say that my favorite release of this year was the office supply type dies from April. I bought almost all of them and several have become constants on my scrapbook pages now.

Loved the variety of flowers, loved the pop-up-ability and loved the different sizes offered!
You will be missed Laura...you've been rockin' the blog this year! Have fun in Seattle though...don't forget your umbrella!!!

It is so difficult to choose :) I really love the journaling dies from today's release. I know I need them LOL

That is a hard question!!! I think my fave of the year so far is the January b-day release. It seems like I am constantly doing b-day LOs and making b-day cards, so those dies are constantly being used, and they are so cute to boot--that tiered cake is still one of my all-time favorite dies!

Good Luck Laura with your move!
Today's release is my favorite so far! I am loving these new dies. Could you possibly contact me with info as to where I could buy them? Thank you!

I really like this month's release. Enjoy Seattle!
Posted by: Christine | July 21, 2009 at 03:18 PM
There's just not an easy answer to that question! I just looked back on all of the releases, and I have to asy it's been a good year. If I had to pick one, though, I'd say April was my favorite with those office supplies. A close second is March with the nesting stars.

I'm having a hard time coming up with a favourite! I love them all! I think my favourite was the anime release because of all the cute quarky little animals, and I love the Zelda because it's the coolest font and there are so many other things you can use the letters for (little extras).Sad to hear that you're leaving! hopefully you'll love it in Seattle!

I think the birthday release was my favorite so far! I LOVE cupcakes so of course that die was at the top of my must HAVE list! Oh, and the Pin the Lips on the Frog was tooooo cute! I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us with the CHA releases! Thanks for the fun giveaway and best of luck to you and your family with your move! Katie
